Richardson Rotary Club's 2023-24 International Service project to provide 80 women with training and a sewing machine to help lift them out of poverty and grow their local economy is moving forward.This project was funded with $3,500 from Richardson Rotary Club and $2,100 from International Chem-Crete (Radi Al-Rashed) for a total of $5,600. Working with the Goma Tumaini Rotary Club and ALARM (African Leadership and Reconciliation Ministries, Celestin Musekura), the Brenda Tailoring School in Democratic Republic of Congo will provide 80 women with training and a sewing machine to help lift them out of poverty and grow their local economy.
