Community members will learn more about research that takes place at UTD as prominent researchers showcase their science and centers located at the IQ. February 21 Speaker: Dr. Walter Voit: Center for Applied AI with UT Dallas Expertise (CAIQUE) CAIQUE showcases emergent AI research, 3D-modeling of manufactured parts (inlcuding medical devices), data structure, analytical methods, and much more. March 20 Speaker: Dr. Rym Zalila-Wenkstern: Center for Smart Mobility (COSMO) COSMO advances solutions for the engineering of smart, multimodal cyber transportation infrastructures to improve safety and enhance mobility for drivers, bicyclists, and pedestrians. April 17 Speaker: Dr. Anne Balsamo: IQ Design IQ Design creates media rich experiences that engage, educate, and entertain audiences, fuse technical expertise with design thinking to create evocative interactives, and much more. Join Barbara and Bill Perryman for a Poolside Cookout to thank you for supporting the Backing the Bash Initiative! The average family spends $890.07 on back-to-school items from uniforms and supplies. For $150, Network of Community Ministries can outfit a family in uniforms, and $50 can fill a backpack with supplies! Any donation makes an impact on students in Richardson Independent School District! Donations can be made at the Secretary's Desk during Rotary Meetings, via check to Network of Community Ministries, or online at https://thenetwork.org/donate-today/#donate-now.
