Scott Greeson City of Richardson - Emergency Management Coordinator
Scott Greeson is the Emergency Management Coordinator for the Office of Emergency Management where he has worked as a team member for the past 11 years. Previously, he served as the Planning Section Chief and Interim Director for the Dallas County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management.
Scott is a Certified Emergency Manager by the International Association of Emergency Managers, Certified Emergency Manager for the Emergency Management Accreditation of Texas, a Certified Master Continuity Practitioner from FEMA and a Certified Emergency Management Assessor and program manager for the Emergency Management Accreditation Program.
His passion is helping those in need and emergency management serving in numerous roles in Texas and Louisiana for past incidents to include tornadoes, hurricanes, floods and other emergency incidents over the past several years. Scott is currently serving on several regional and state planning committees to include the State of Texas Hazard Mitigation Committee, State Planning Standard Committee and the State of Texas Emergency Assistance Registry Committee and State of Texas Disability Committee.

The Club operates its Flag Program with the support of local Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Jr. ROTC detachment members who share in the revenue. Net proceeds benefit Richardson Rotary Foundation’s college scholarships (over $500,000 committed to 93 recipients since 1983), plus various club-supported programs and charities.
