Eva Hummel is Manager of Public Affairs, Mid-Tex Division for Atmos Energy Corporation and represents Atmos Energy in eighteen North Texas communities. Atmos Energy is one of the country’s largest natural gas only distributors. Its utility operations serve more than three million gas customers in eight states. 

Throughout Eva Hummel’s professional career, she has served in the roles of public relations, public affairs, marketing, and community engagement. In her position with Atmos Energy she focuses on relationships with community stakeholders, municipalities, businesses, civic organizations, non-profits, and elected officials. 

Before joining Atmos Energy, Eva worked at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center Garland where she served as marketing and public relations manager. Prior to Baylor Scott & White she served as marketing coordinator for the Curtis Culwell Center owned and operated by the Garland Independent School District (GISD). She was also very instrumental in starting a school district wellness program for GISD. Eva has more than 25+ years of combined experience within education, healthcare, and public utilities along with the non-profit sector.
