Role

As the Director of Communications, Alex Johnson oversees all aspects of communications and public education for NTMWD, including managing the district's communication strategy, engaging public education for water conservation and promoting the district's operations, programs, and projects. 

Experience & Background

Alex joined NTMWD in October 2023. Prior to joining the NTMWD team, Alex served as Director of External Communications for the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. During his 18 years at the Dallas Fed, Alex served in a variety of roles focused on strategic communications, media relations and public education. 

Education & Certifications

• Baylor University - Master of Arts, Journalism 
• Southwestern University - Bachelor of Arts, Communications Studies

Dr. Victor Manuel: Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine are vital components for a new age of health and wellness in the world. We cannot continue to pretend that bio-medicine of the West is the only way to solve the many problems of the world. My goal is to give evidence-based research and documentation that allows high quality analyses of the efficacy of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine.

This community blood drive is supported by Bike Mart, both Richardson Rotary Clubs, the Richardson Chamber of Commerce, and the Richardson YMCA.

• Location: Athenaeum, 777 Loop Rd SW, Richardson, TX 75080Arrival: Please plan to arrive at least 15-20 minutes early to allow time for parking and check-in. No parking pass is necessary.
• Lunch: A catered lunch will be provided from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M.
